The impressive peak at 2,<span class=\"content\">814 meters (9,230 feet) offers spectacular views of the lowlands. The resort of <a title=\"Israel's ski resort\" href=\"http:\/\/www.skihermon.co.il\/summer-english-index.html\" target=\"_blank\">Neve Ativ<\/a> is located at a lower elevation about half way up the mountain.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The 11 lift resort was built in the early seventies.
